US Harper's Bazaar June/July 2010: Katherine Heigl By Alexi Lubomirski

And the recession begins! Harper's Bazaar for the first time published a bimonthly issue. This couldn't mean anything but Recession. It's such a sad thing because it's really a proof that the Great Depression is really hitting the fashion world.

So much for our economy! This cover is really fresh! I'm really glad to see Harper's Bazaar risking a lot to give us such a fresh cover. With all honesty, it works! I mean, you can't deny that it looks like US Vogue but we should give them an A for effort. It takes a lot of courage to break off from your tradition and comfort zone.

Katherine looks great in this cover and as well as her editorial. She's wearing a lot of Fall/Winter 2010 pieces and some Pre-Fall. The only problem here is the text. How crowded can one cover get? And some of the taglines are used over and over again. Disappointing on that part.

I'm so happy to see something new from Harper's Bazaar. Hope they continue surprising us in a Good Way. Let's get our Hopes UP!
