Madonna The Grandma!
Album Review: Christina Aguilera - Bionic
1. Bionic - Robotic and Bionic! Tells us that what we're about to listen for an hour is purely technical and vocoder songs! I love it, it's a catchy song. Decent for Christina, shows no Vocal Power at times but still a decent one. 8/102. Not Myself Tonight - Now I know why she chose this to be her first single! It tells us how the old her is gone and either we like it or not, the new her is here to stay. In short "FUCK OFF HATERS"! 9/103. Woohoo - A very R&B-ish song for Christina. Clearly this can pass as theme songs for us girls. It's a song about a guy liking this girl and wanna see and taste her Woohoo! Hot, hot, hot. To be honest MIA's part is hot here. She also mentions Dior here. 9.5/104. Elastic Love - The song starts very technical! This song is really gay but could've been better if the vocoder wasn't used. It makes her voice unclear and you sometimes struggle to comprehend what she's saying. But ones again, it's gay so I like. 8/105. Desdunate - OMFG, I love this song! Her voice here is so sweet and she goes back to her sexy pop Spanish-ish song. And it's not DESNUDATE, it's "Des-nude-a-teh" (h for clarification). Another hit single if released. The Billboard Spain will really dig this. And those who likes to play songs while doing the NASTY, this is a HOT song to play. Erotic 10/106. Glam - WOW! This is like a Christina Fan Version of FASHION. I love it! Tells you how to be Glamorous in your own way. No it's not like BEAUTIFUL it's like a song that could pass for Sex And The City 3. Another lovely song. OOh and I love the INTRO that tells that Fashion, we should Live It, Love It, Breathe It. GAY! 10/107. Prima Donna - It's cute bot not catchy. A weak song to be a single. But still decent. 8/108. Sex For Breakfast - This has got to be the least song that I like in this album. It tries to be Erotic but it's not working. I literally fell asleep in this song. Sorry but not my cup of tea. 5/109. Lift Me Up - Beautiful! This has got to be the most innovating and touching ballads of all time. I cried in this song for it's so inspirational. It tells us to stand up through whatever and try a new. Not that her vocals are as powerful as before but there's something here that makes you breakdown. It's like through everything there's hope. The lyrics are so emotional. This has got to be a sing;e! This will be a sure hit accompanied with a fabulous video. Thank you Christina! Ans she also sings with so much emotion and from the heart! WOW! 10/1010. All I Need - It's okay. Boring at times but could work as an 80's love song. 7/1011. I Am - A cute and catchy love song. Some might hate it, some might say it's okay, some may love it. Decent Christina song. Love the backing up in this song. So subtle and emotional. The title speaks fr itself. Tells the guy to take her as she is. 9/1012. You Lost Me - Another ballad that a lot of people will love. It's about how two people lost their love and passion for each other. A super lovely song! 9.5/1013. I Hate Boys - This has got to be one of my favorite songs in the album. It's about them girls that's been through a lot of pain with men. Tells us how men do tricks for them to get us! Man Haters represent! 10/1014. My Girls - OMG! This is a song for gays and girl groups. Song is self explanatory. Love it! Very Gay Christina! 10/10

What Makes A Man?
Vogue Paris June/July 2010: Kate Moss By Mario Sorrenti
US Harper's Bazaar June/July 2010: Katherine Heigl By Alexi Lubomirski
So much for our economy! This cover is really fresh! I'm really glad to see Harper's Bazaar risking a lot to give us such a fresh cover. With all honesty, it works! I mean, you can't deny that it looks like US Vogue but we should give them an A for effort. It takes a lot of courage to break off from your tradition and comfort zone.
Katherine looks great in this cover and as well as her editorial. She's wearing a lot of Fall/Winter 2010 pieces and some Pre-Fall. The only problem here is the text. How crowded can one cover get? And some of the taglines are used over and over again. Disappointing on that part.
I'm so happy to see something new from Harper's Bazaar. Hope they continue surprising us in a Good Way. Let's get our Hopes UP!

W June 2010: Cate Blanchett By Craig McDean
I won't make my review very long for American Idol is on right now. So can't you just avoid this cover? Who can? I mean isn't Cate too gorgeous? Love her couture pose, her strikingly fierce blue eyes and her outfit. The text are working, obviously. So as the colors.
Good job W magazine! And oh, Hello Stefano Tonchi!

Vogue Russia June 2010: Doutzen Kroes By Terry Richardson
We all respect Vogue Russia and the forever fashionable Alyona Dolestskya but she really needs to step up her game and give us a cover worthy of our respect and MONEY! So glad that I'm not collecting Vogue Russia, because if ever I was, Bye bye collection! I am so not buying this even if it's the last of Vogue Russia. Even Doutzen doesn't look like herself. This is just BAD!
Very disappointed in this cover. Hoping to see a cover worthy of posting and respect.

Vogue Nippon July 2010: Alessandra Ambrosio By Inez & Vinoodh
There are only two things that I find weird in this cover. First is the boring colors. Good thing the image is fabulous, if not, i'll get sleepy in those colors. It's just too damn messy. From Violet to Silver, Fashion Color Code please? The second one is the Prada dress. I just don't get why she is wearing something underneath it. I mean wouldn't it look better if there was nothing inside the dress only some underwear and she was showing a lot of skin? Now that is extra hot!
I really can't wait to see the full content review of this issue. Hoping that Alessandra has an editorial inside!

Us Vogue June 2010: Blake Lively By Mario Testino
What I don't get with this is why did Anna choose Blake again? She's only relevant because Gossip Girl will have it's series finale and that's it. I mean, no movie to promote, no recent political/environmental affairs or anything. Needless to say, she's IRRELEVANT. Blake, in this cover is undeniably gorgeous but to have 2 covers in the span of 15 months, that's just wrong. Is she becoming the new Sienna Miller that everytime she does something she'll bag herself a cover. Hope not. And to be honest, her Kate Moss knock-off editorial is pretty amazing.
According to other people, this cover also looks like the cover of Uma Thurman on the same month of 2006. Well I agree, the hair looks the same. The text for me here is so not working. And what the hell is that gigantic 65 for? It's as if it'll catch buyers attention.
I just hope this issue sells well. So excited to see the return of the ever gorgeous Karen Elson. And in case you're wondering what Mathew Morrison's editorial looks like, one word to describe it - HOT! Raquel and Mathew did there thing and it works - they look so cute together!
Hoping to re-post this post with a better review of the entire contents.

Vogue Korea June 2010: Anja Rubik By Nagi Sakai
Her editorial in this issue is stellar. Every shot is worth it of a cover. If I was Vogue Portugal, I'll knock me off some of her shots and make it my cover. Damn, that issue will sell.
Anja just can't do anything wrong these days. I miss her tomboy hair.

Katy Perry Ft. Snoop Dogg - California Gurls
During a Rolling Stone photo shoot in April 2010, Perry revealed details about the song, allegedly a response to Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind", she stated: "It's so great that "Empire State of Mind" is huge and that everyone has the New York song, but what the fuck? What about LA? What about California?. It's been a minute since we had a California song and especially from a girl's perspective. We took the references of Prince, which is always a great reference, and some of the '90s, almost house music references".
After the song was leaked online, Capitol Records decided to release it early, and it was posted on Perry's newly revamped site due to the song, and the radio release date was moved up from May 25, 2010 to May 7, 2010. The artwork was also released, featuring Perry laying out on the beach sand with a bejeweled bikini.

Vogue Continental
Stylist Rosemary Kokuhilwa writes: "I think it’s about time we have Vogue magazine in Africa." She’s referring to images by Paris-based Cameroonian photographer Mario Epanya, which illustrate what Vogue Africa could look like. Kokuhilwa (who is from Tanzania) asserts that she loves the idea of having Vogue Africa represent the whole continent: "Maybe in some way this will help bring us together. A commenter agrees, writing: "A successful Vogue Africa would singlehandedly present Cond Nast with its biggest achievement to date, particularly in an economic environment where luxury and elite products/services are having to cater to a wider, more globally aware and dynamic market."
Acknowledging that women all over the continent are interested in fashion and beauty would be an interesting move. And as seen at Arise Africa Fashion Week, there’s no shortage of talented designers on the continent, eager to showcase their unique points of view.On the other hand: Lumping all the countries, cultures and perspectives in the African diaspora together in one Vogue when countries like Italy, France, Germany, Russia and Spain each get their own is potentially disastrous. And even if celebrating pan-African fashion works for a fashion show, an entire magazine could be a tricky task. One we’re not sure Vogue is equipped to tackle. - Jezebel
Oh heavens! Another Vogue franchise on the talks? To be honest, I LOVE this idea. I mean, seeing African, African-American girls on the covers of Vogue is not a norm! We have to wait for years and pray for miracles just so Anna, Carine & Franca will put black girls on the cover.
If this comes true, our prayers have been answered. We don't have to WAIT for a miracle for we can see them almost every month.
I just hope the covers lives up to the name Vogue. No reprints, original articles and stellar features. They could learn from Vogue Turkiye.
This news just made me think. What if there was Vogue Philippines? Would it be as glamorous as US, Paris, Italia and UK? Or would it be as dull as Greece and Portugal. Well, only time can tell.
